The Optimist asked these questions earlier this week on its Facebook page.

Below are a few of the responses:

Susan Potter Eidt: I own a condo in Maui. We were supposed to be going there on Saturday for two weeks with four other family members. Needless to say we are no longer going. The 87-year-old guest who was staying in there before us is sheltering in place, because he’s from New York and is terrified to go home. Maui is on lockdown. Everything is closed, including beaches. Gary Byrne: Booked a trip last year to go to the UK in September. I'm hoping I can still go. Got concert tickets for a show in the Portland area in July too.

Suzette Smith: Booked in February for a family vacay to Cuba in November! Thank goodness I have insurance! Dr. Henry says there may be a second wave of this in the fall, so I may be rebooking for next April!

Andrew Bak: Was planning a trip to Vegas, for the World Series of Poker - but that doesn’t seem likely now...
