Vancouver Chamber Music Society returns to live performances on Nov. 8 at the Anvil Centre in New Westminster featuring the Koerner Piano Trio.

Vancouver Academy of Music’s first chamber ensemble in residency makes their VCMS debut with gripping performances of Mozart, Smetana, and Turina.

Written amidst a series of tragedies, Smetana’s trio will ease the fears and uncertainties in our community with the unexpected joy and optimism in its conclusion.

“Expect a concert program that is filled with passion, melody, and virtuosity to keep the listener firmly on the edge of their seat,” said VCMS in a news release.

Several measures have been taken to ensure the health and safety of everyone in attendance as guided by BC health authorities including limited capacity of 50 people. Tickets, $40, are only available online for the show at 2 and 4:30 p.m. Reserve tickets at: https://www.vancouverchambermusic.com/concerts.

The Vancouver Chamber Music Society offers a unique opportunity to hear live music in a time when so many other presenters have cancelled their 2020/21 seasons. Classical music fans are longing to hear live artistry and will want to take advantage of these limited seats.
