The Loades of Music Concert Band dropped by the Wexford seniors’ community in Tsawwassen yesterday for a Christmas concert.
It was the band’s second festive concert this holiday season.
Two years ago they were nine players strong. Today this concert band has thirty five members.
Their love for music and a daytime availability, as most people in the group are retired, has allowed this group to flourish.
They play at many places during the year.
The band starts again on Jan. 3. Rehearsals are at Saviour Luther Church from 1 to 3 p.m. each Thursday.
