For the first workshop of the 2018/19 season, the Delta Photo Club is pleased to have Ian MacDonald return with a presentation on travel photography.

The workshop is set for Wednesday, Sept. 12 at 7:15 p.m. at the KinVillage Recreation Centre in Tsawwassen. MacDonald will discuss a range of topics, including fitting travel photography into your vacation, pre-trip research, gear, tips for photographing location, people and details, and basic editing.

MacDonald is an official Fuji X photographer based out of Vancouver. His work is candid and documentary in nature, with a focus on street, travel and candid wedding photography. He has also been an educator for more than 20 years, currently offering group street photography workshops, private one-on-one photography workshops and photography education online with students around the world.

Collaborating with others and building relationships within the photography community are central themes for MacDonald, and he loves the process of photography as much as he does the art that he creates. Learn more about his work at www.ianmacdonaldphotography.com.

Guests are welcome to the workshop for a $10 fee, payable at the door.
