Sidekick Players Club will soon be auditioning its last play of the season, The Ladies Foursome, written by Canadian playwright Norm Foster and directed by Carroll Lefebvre.

The day after their friend Catherine's funeral, Margot, Tate and Connie gather for a round of golf in honour of their recently departed fourth. At the golf course they are joined by another woman, an old friend of Catherine’s they'd never met.

Over the course of 18 holes, secrets and confessions unravel as the women discuss love, sex, children and everything in between. Foster wrote The Foursome that Sidekick produced several years ago that featured four men. The Ladies Foursome is one of Foster’s recent plays.

Cast requirements are four women, two in their 50s and two in their 40s. Production dates are June 12 to 22 at the Tsawwassen Arts Centre.

Auditions are at the arts centre on Saturday, April 6 from 2 to 4 p.m. and Monday, April 8 from 7 to 9 p.m.

No appointments will be made. Auditions will be on a first come, first served basis. It will be a cold read from the script. Scripts are available at the Vancouver Library for perusal. You must become a member of Sidekick ($10 payable at first rehearsal) if cast.
