Sun Fest parade to march down 56th Street

There is nothing quite like a parade -- the colourful floats, the marching bands, clowns and street performers. The pride of this year’s Sun Festival is the annual Rotary Parade, which begins at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 6.

There is nothing quite like a parade -- the colourful floats, the marching bands, clowns and street performers.

The pride of this year’s Sun Festival is the annual Rotary Parade, which begins at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 6.

The parade will start at the corner of 16th Avenue and head south on 56th Street to Winskill Park.

Sponsored by dozens of companies and featuring hundreds of local individuals, clubs and businesses, the parade certainly brings together the feeling of community and the spirit of Sun Festival.
