The Trinity Community Choir hits the stage this Sunday in the popular Sunday @3 concert series at Ladner United Church.

In addition to great music at the 3 p.m. concert, artist Linda Anderson will be on hand with a small showcase of her work.

The Trinity Community Choir started out as a church choir centered at Trinity Community Lutheran Church in Point Roberts. Under the direction of Natasha Neufeld, the choir supported the Sunday services at the church.

In 2010, the choir evolved into a community choir with members from Tsawwassen, Ladner, Surrey as well as Point Roberts.

The choir traditionally has two seasons, fall and spring. In the fall season, it sings both religious and secular songs of the Christmas season, culminating in a concert in December.

In the spring, it sings mostly secular songs with concerts in June.

The spring concerts have a variety of themes. The two most recent concerts were titled Cole Porter and Friends and Celtic Rhapsodies. This spring, the theme is music from stage and screen.

The choir practices on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. at St. David's Anglican Church in Tsawwassen.

It’s an un-auditioned choir that welcomes all people who enjoy singing.

Tickets for the Sunday @3 concert are $10 at the door.
