Attendees will have lots to check out at the Boundary Bay Airshow.

With an amazing performance from the Canadian Forces Snowbirds and the Canadian CF-18 Hornet Demonstration Team the 2019 Boundary Bay Airshow promises to be bigger and better than ever.

Alpha Aviation Inc. and the City of Delta are proud to sponsor the Boundary Bay Airshow on Saturday, July 20.

As one of the few remaining free admission airshows, this event holds an appeal for people of all ages. From children’s activities and delicious food options, to the non-stop excitement in the skies, there truly is something for everyone.

“In all the years we’ve been hosting the Boundary Bay Airshow, we have never had this caliber of performers,” said Fred Kaiser CEO of Alpha Aviation. “We are honoured to play host to the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, and I’m also very excited to perform alongside great pilots. It has always been my vision to host a world class airshow at Boundary Bay Airport, and 2019 will be a great spectacle.”

The Airshow will feature  performances from Brent Handy, courtesy of sponsorship from White Spot and Vicki Benzing, courtesy of sponsorship from Green for Life Environmental.

In addition to these performers, this year’s airshow will include:

* The Port of Vancouver Family Zone (face painting, mini golf, crafts)

* A car show in the Heritage Hangar

* Vendors & food trucks

* VIP tent and chalets

* Autograph tent and aircraft exhibitors and static displays from the 15th Field Artillery Regiment, Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue and others.

* The Erickson collection of vintage aircraft (courtesy of sponsorship from Ocean Trailer).

“Boundary Bay Airport played a significant role during World War II, training Royal Canadian Air Force student pilots for combat,” said Mayor George Harvie. “The City of Delta is extremely proud of our aviation history and we are honoured to welcome the Canadian Armed Forces Snowbirds and CF-18 Hornet Demonstration Team to our community.”

Attendees are encouraged to bring a folding chair, sunglasses, sunscreen and hat. Remember, the Boundary Bay Airport is located next to the ocean and can be windy throughout the day.
