Luisa Marshall is bringing her Tina Turner tribute show to Ladner’s Genesis Theatre next Friday.

The show will be a family affair for Marshall as she’ll be joined onstage by daughters Kimi (lead guitar/back-up vocals) and Zenia (vocals), sister Tota Mendez (vocals) and the “love of my life” Steve Marshall (drums).

“Every second on stage with my family is spectacular, a high that lingers on for a long time. It’s a lot of fun, so inspiring and memorable,” she says.

Marshall started performing as Turner, Known as the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll, just for fun in 1995 after a fan suggestion and embraced the tribute artist role in 2000.

Tribute artists Jenni Doyle (performing as Shania Twain) and Bill Pantazis (performing as George Michael) will be special guests at the upcoming Ladner show.

“It will be a magical evening of hit songs from Tina, Shania and George,” says Marshall.

She adds her daughters will pay tribute to Irish rock band Cranberries lead singer Dolores O’Riordan, who unexpectedly passed away a month ago.

The show is set for Friday, March 2 at 7:30 p.m. at Genesis Theatre, 5005-45th Ave., Ladner. Tickets are $39.50. For tickets call 1-800-838-3006 or visit brownpapertickets.com.
