The Tsawwassen Legion will be the place to be this weekend to help those in need and spread some holiday goodwill.

The 10th annual Toys and Tunes fundraiser in support of the Deltassist Toy Depot takes place Saturday starting at 7 p.m.

Admission is $10 at the door or a toy of equal or greater value. There will also be a silent auction that starts at 6 p.m. Food and appetizers will be available.

All the money raised from admission and the silent auction will be put towards ‎Deltassist. The Legion will be purchasing toys for the kids and families that are less fortunate so they are able to have Christmas gifts for everyone. Deltassist will distribute the gifts/toys where needed.

Bands this year are Rockline, My Friend’s Band and Rhythm Rush.

Rockline is a Tsawwassen-based band with local musicians that have a great following. Rhythm Rush is also a South Delta band that brings a great mix of music for everyone. My Friend’s Band is from White Rock with members from Ladner. They feature an impressive set list of songs that will be sure to fill the dance floor.

The fundraiser is open to the whole community as you don’t have to be a Legion member to attend.

The Tsawwassen Legion is located in Century Square (22-1835-56th St).
