Tsawwassen cult-horror short premiers at Rio Grind Film Festival

Beau Han Bridge's short-film Margot's Period featuring Tsawwassen actors will premier this Saturday as part of the Rio Grind Film Festival.

Margot's Period will screen on Saturday, Nov. 24 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the Rio Theatre (1660 E Broadway, Vancouver).

Margot's Period centres around a young women named Margot who experiences the horrors of getting her first period at a holiday party.

The film was directed and written by Bridge, shot in Tsawwassen, and features young Tsawwassen actors Shelby Satterthwaite (who plays the lead Margot) and Mack Dobb (playing Cult Sister Sue). The film will be playing alongside well known classic and contemporary films, such as John Carpenter's The Fog, Lars Von Trier's The House That Jack Built, & Luca Guadagnino's Suspiria.

The film is rated 18A and you must be 19-plus with ID to attend the event.
