Violet Finch hosting fundraising show

A South Delta band is hoping to do its part to prevent human trafficking and support survivors.

Violet Finch is putting on a fundraising show on Saturday night, Aug. 15 at the Tsawwassen Legion. Doors open at 7 p.m. with admission by donation.

All proceeds from the show will be donated to Ally Global Foundation who works with local partners in Nepal, Laos and Cambodia to prevent human trafficking and support survivors recovery by providing safe homes, education, and job training. To learn more visit www.allyglobal.org.

Violet Finch is a collaborative music force, uniting the voices of Layla Vaugeois, Jaralin Detienne, and Vicky Sjohall, and the powerhouse drummer Amanda Hamilton. Accompanied by bass, guitar, keyboards, and percussion, the harmonies are soaring and the songs are distinct versions of covers that will keep you wanting more.
