Ladner Village Market

It’s Market Sunday again in Ladner.

The Ladner Village Market returns on July 28 running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. running between Delta and Elliott Streets.

This year marks the 23rd season for the Ladner Village Market. With an emphasis on Make it, Bake it, Grow it, the Ladner Village Market allows you to meet local individuals who create their products. This market features vendors from around B.C.

Featured entertainment this Sunday is the Kokosoul Duo from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Olaf de Shield Trio from 1 to 4 p.m.


Rumble and roar

Tsawwassen Mills will be the site of the Rumble and Roar Classic Car Show this Sunday.

The show runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will be held in the SE Corner of parking lot hear the ferry terminal.

Registration is $20 per vehicle at the gate day of show. Event includes a DJ, vendor booths, club displays, prizes and trophies.

Partial proceeds will go to support the Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation.


Car boot sales

The summer car boot sales are held twice a month at Boundary Bay Regional Park close to Centennial Beach. The next sale is Saturday, July 27 from 8:30 a.m. to noon – weather permitting. Cost is $10 for vendors (two parking spots to be set up at 8 a.m.) Supply own display material, ground sheets etc. No pre-bookings. The Vancouver Aquarium’s AquaVan is coming to the Port of Vancouver Delta Community Office in Ladner’s Trenant Park Square on Wednesday, July 31 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Touch a sea star, examine a sea urchin and be amazed by the wonders of the marine world through their mobile aquarium.
