Here's how many Metro Vancouver and Canadian cities prefer baths versus showers according to a new study.

To soak or stand, that is the question.

A new study by QS Supplies found that most Canadians would rather have a bath than a shower. Residents of the Metro Vancouver, on the other hand, are divided.

The study used a sentiment analysis tool on thousands of geo-tagged tweets to find that 33 out of 46 of the largest cities in Canada are more enthusiastic about soaking in a bath than standing in the shower.

In Metro Vancouver, these cities preferred a relaxing bath:

  • Vancouver
  • Richmond
  • Burnaby
  • Surrey

Meanwhile, these cities opted for a quick shower:

  • Coquitlam
  • Delta
  • Abbotsford
  • Langely

The most "pro-bath" city in Canada, however, is Regina, whereas the most "pro-shower" city is Mississauga.
