'It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas': Metro Vancouver wakes up to snow Monday morning (PHOTOS)

Was it a moment of "ugh" or absolute glee to see the snow this morning? ❄️❄️❄️

Early risers across Metro Vancouver this morning were treated to quite the sight: snow. 

Snow fell in the early hours of Monday (Dec. 6) across the region, and thanks to some low overnight temps, it has stuck in some places - though it won't stick around long.

Environment Canada issued a Special Weather Statement about the Vancouver snow, calling for a minimum of 2 cm accumulation with a maximum of about 10 cm at higher elevations. However, while some snow may continue to fall Monday morning, it should all turn to rain by lunchtime.

Monday's temperature will see a high of about 3 C in Metro Vancouver, with more drizzle on the way overnight, with light winds. 

In the meantime, Monday's snow on the ground was met with a range of reactions from locals, from "ugh" to absolute glee.
