Our newspaper carriers and delivery drivers are the stars of the Delta Optimist’s final edition of 2021.
A big dump of snow overnight Wednesday, close to 20 centimeters in some parts of South Delta, certainly made delivering Thursday’s paper an immense challenge for our delivery team, dealing with everything from snow-covered roads, sidewalks and driveways.
Yet, our drivers and carriers overcame the adverse conditions to get the Optimist to your door on regular time in almost all South Delta neighborhoods. We thank them for their enormous efforts.
