For more than 44 years beautiful lights, decorated boats and the songs of the season highlight one of Ladner's favourite Christmas traditions.
The carol ships return tonight (Friday), Dec. 9 and Saturday, Dec. 10 starting at 7 p.m. both nights. As Ladner lifts their voices…the carol ships will sail into Ladner Harbour.
It's a wonderful family event at the government dock - at the foot of Elliott Street (beside Sharkey’s). Back once again are this year’s special musical guests, recording artists KickDrive.
Alistair Milne from KickDrive has been carolling at the carol ship event for more than 40 years.
“It's something I really look forward to every year. The event really kicks Christmas off in a wonderful way,” he told the Optimist. “Ladner is beautiful. Bring the family. See you there!”
