Ladner United Church will get into the festive spirit with a Christmas Village Bazaar this Saturday.
Special baskets, which are sold via silent auction, are a big highlight, notes Pat Rogers, chair of the event.
The bazaar is a "great way to get a head start on your Christmas shopping," Rogers adds.
There will also be a kids' zone, home baking, jams, jellies, candies and a collectible section.
Rogers says the congregation is donating items for bottle mania, where $2 buys you a bottle of something. Jellybeans could be one example, she says.
Homemade bunwiches will be on the lunch menu.
The Christmas Village Bazaar will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Ladner United Church, 4960-48th Ave.
