?This spring, the Tsawwassen Lawn Bowling Club welcomes new members of all ages. If you would like to know more about bowling on grass, and why we are so enthusiastic about our sport, come to the club's Open House on Saturday, April 14, any time between noon and 2 p.m. If your interest is piqued, you may choose to sign up for coaching later in the month. The club is located on the north side of Winskill Park, next to the artificial turf playing field.

?Behind the Cover is set for Monday, April 16 from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Tsawwassen Library. Adults are invited for some informal, fun and thought-provoking book talks. Let our Information Services staff introduce you to some new authors. Drop in.

?The Boundary Bay Quilters Guild invites you to attend our meeting on Tuesday, April 17. Our guest speaker Heidi Lund of 'Sewfiber Inspirations' is from Washington. Fund Raisers

?Talent Showcase by Miss World Canada Delegate Kiana Passmore @ the Tsawwassen Arts Centre is scheduled for April 21.

Doors at 6: 30 and the show starts at 7 p.m. A fundraiser for Variety, the night will be full of raffles, door prizes, silent auction goods and entertainment. Tickets are $12 at the door. ?IODE Boundary Bay Chapter invites bridge enthusiasts to a Bridge and Afternoon Tea fundraiser on Wednesday, April 25 from 1 to 4 p.m. at All Saints Anglican Church, Ladner.

?A Delta Parks Recreation and Culture Children's Swap Meet will be held at the South Delta Recreation Centre on April 14 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. If you are looking for clothing, toys and/or other items for your children, this is the place to buy them! Admission is free. There will be loads of goodies for those bargain hunters who want to purchase books, baby accessories and clothes, as well as opportunities to rent tables and sell your gently used items. ?There will be a bike drop-off Saturday, April 14 at Sacred Heart School parking lot on Arthur Drive from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Have bicycles the kids have outgrown or adult bikes just collecting dust? don't toss them to the curb. Hollyburn Family Services will help get them into the hands of children and youth in the Vancouver area who don't currently have access to them. Email [email protected] for more info.
