Are you responsible for the care of an adult family member or friend at home or in a facility? Trying to cope with the changes that aging and illness bring to a loved one can be a difficult and stressful job. Delta Caregivers' Network is offering an education series and support group starting Thursday, Feb. 23 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. once a week for eight weeks. Subjects covered include caregiver stress, communication techniques, role and lifestyle changes, accessing and using community resources, and legal and financial issues. Cost is $25. The Delta Parent Advisory Committee is hosting a Fundraising Fair on Saturday, Feb. 25 from 12 to 5 at East Delta Hall. The Canadian Federation of University Women South Delta meets the fourth Tuesday of the month in the Royal Oaks Social Room, 1100-56th Street at 7:15 p.m. The next meeting will be Tuesday, Feb. 28. Adult Grief Support Group starting Feb. 28. Seven Sessions facilitated by registered clinical counselor Heather Mohan. Participants will learn about the grief process, different styles and ways of grieving, how to utilize music, art, imagery & mindfulness meditation to enhance coping, strategies for dealing with family conflict, guilt, anger and regrets, and self-care and positive coping. The Cammidge House Committee invites you to celebrate Heritage Day at Cammidge House, located in Boundary Bay Regional Park, on Sunday, Feb. 26 from 1 to 4 p.m. Volunteers in 1914 costumes will be serving tea, coffee and baked goods by donation. There will be a display of the history of the development of power in South Delta and its future in B.C. vintage cars and tractors will be located in the garden along with a display from Earthwise Garden.

Many of the churches of South Delta are meeting at the South Delta Baptist Church on March 2 at 1:30 p.m. for the annual World Day of Prayer service.
