Delta Seniors Planning Team is offering a free workshop for seniors on reducing health risks and maintaining good health through physical activity. On Saturday, Aug. 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Kennedy Seniors Recreation Centre, 11760-88th Ave., North Delta, a Penny Carnival and Barbecue will be held by the Kennedy House Seniors Society to benefit the B.C. Childrens' Hospital.

The Tsawassen SunFest Music Festival takes place over the B.C. Day-long weekend from Aug. 3 to 6 with bands, musical events and concert performances at the Winskill Park Main Stage, the Tsawwassen Arts Centre and various outdoor venues around town including Earthwise Garden, Petra's and Tsawwassen Town Centre Mall.
