The Delta Christian School's Grade 4/5 class volunteered at the Ladner Community Kitchen and the South Delta Food Bank recently. Students participated in many roles, including:
- Bagging/handing out non-perishable food items
- Handing out homemade baked goodies while visiting with patrons
- Serving food
- Looking after toddlers in the nursery
- Helping with odd jobs/tasks at Ladner Christian Fellowship (where the food bank is located) More photos at www.delta-optimist.com.
