Looking to learn more about Delta and its heritage? Then look no further than the offerings the City of Delta has planned this week.

From Feb. 15 to 21, residents are invited to join the City of Delta and the Delta Discovery Centre in embracing our heritage with a variety of unique programs, activities, and media, all from the comfort and safety of your own home.

Virtual programming

Through Delta's Virtual Recreation Centre, the Delta Discovery Centre staff will host different programs geared towards learning and framing how we look at Delta's heritage.

For fans of lighthearted competition, Trivia Night will be a can't-miss opportunity to flex your historical knowledge while socializing with others, while Historic House Drawing may appeal to your inner-artist. For a more passive experience, Silent Movie Night will provide a fascinating window into the history of filmmaking.

Mixed media

On top of the virtual programming, you will be able to experience Delta in a brand new way through the Around Delta ambient soundscape series. You are also invited to rediscover some of the phenomenal video series the Delta Discovery Centre has created over the past few years, including the Fisherman Oral Stories series and the Delta Treasures series.
