The students at Delview Secondary in North Delta have once again come through to help those in need.

Thanks 4 Giving is one of the largest single-night food drives in B.C.

This year’s event was the 30th annual food drive organized by Delview students. The food items collected are donated to the Surrey Food Bank and Deltassist to help local families. Since its inception in 1992, the event has collected more than 440,000 non-perishable food items.

This year’s final tally rang in at 21,561 non-perishable food items for local food banks.
