The event was hosted by the Delta Hospital Auxiliary. The theme for the conference was dubbed "Chart Your Course." The BCAHA is a registered non-profit society that is the co-coordinating body for auxiliaries to hospitals and health care facilities in the province. In 2011, the Delta auxiliary, which formed in the late 1960s, committed another $700,000 to the installation of a digital mammography program at Delta Hospital.
