Envision Financial and the Delta police department are partnering to offer a complimentary Child Identification Day clinic tomorrow.

It will run from 2 to 5 p.m. at Envision's Scottsdale branch, 6955 Scott Rd.

Members of the community are invited to visit the branch with their families, where volunteers from the police department will fingerprint children and provide a personalized ID book.

There will also be games, prizes, popcorn and other activities for children.

"Envision Financial is pleased to partner with the Delta police department to offer this invaluable service to our members and their families," said Rob Watkins, manager of Envision's Scottsdale branch.

"As an organization, we strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our members and are proud to support initiatives, like the Child Identification Day, that contribute to our communities."

The Child Identification book provides one of the most valuable resources a parent can have on hand in the event their child goes missing. All information the police will need is contained in the book, including the child's photo, description details, medical information, fingerprints and DNA as well as a listing of important phone numbers. This will speed up the search efforts by having all the information in one, easy-to-locate book.

The clinic focuses on children 12 years of age and younger, and a parent or legal guardian must be present in order for the child to participate. Upon completing the Child ID book, none of the child's personal information will be kept by Envision Financial or the Delta police.
