Go Green Delta will be bringing an award-winning documentary and its director to the Tsawwassen Library next week.

A free public showing of Peace Out will be held on Wednesday, March 13 from 7 to 9 p.m. and will include a question-and-answer session with director Charles Wilkinson.

Peace Out, winner of the Most Popular Canadian Documentary at the 2011 Vancouver International Film Festival, explores the controversial energy costs and sources in Western Canada, including the Peace River Site C Dam project.

"We believe one key reason Peace Out is attracting audiences and winning awards around the world is that rather than pointing fingers we tried to focus on that which unites us.," said Wilkinson. "We're all implicated, we're all in this together. We're going to have to work together."

The showing is to promote Earth Hour, set for Saturday, March 23.
