The Hannah's Heroes Foundation is gearing up for its annual Fall Fundraiser.
Slated for Saturday, Nov. 2 at Beach Grove Golf Club in Tsawwassen, the yearly event is aimed at raising money to fund research into finding better treatments and a cure for pediatric brain cancers.
Tickets cost $50 and include dinner and entertainment. The festivities will include dancing with DJ little d, and live and silent auctions.
The Hannah's Heroes Foundation was established in September 2007 in honour of Hannah Hatlen, who was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer at age four and died a year later.
The foundation's sole goal is to raise money and awareness for pediatric brain cancer. All proceeds from the Fall Fundraiser will go to research being done at the Child and Family Research Institute at B.C. Children's Hospital.
