Reader Michelle Stubbs shares this family, holiday tradition:
“My husband always loved his mother’s cinnamon buns. I started a family tradition 20 years ago while celebrating our first Christmas together in Beach Grove,” she said. “I decided to make the Land of Nod cinnamon buns Christmas Eve after he had gone to bed. I woke up before him on Christmas morning and put them in the oven.
“To my husband’s delight he woke up to the delicious smell of the cinnamon buns! Now every Christmas since then it a tradition to bake these cinnamon buns every Christmas morning and eat them as my husband, daughter and I open our gifts!”
