Kenzie Clegg of Tsawwassen was chosen from 500 applicants as one of the 16 female finalists in the eighth annual International Top Model - New Silk Road Model Look North America Competition.
To date, the finalists have participated in a photo shoot, media event at Yaohan Centre and a tour of the B.C. Cancer Society. ITM is a strong supporter of the B.C. Cancer Society so it arranged the tour for the finalists to learn a more about cancer research.
Up to $10,000 in prizes are available in the competition, including an allexpense paid trip to China to compete in the New Silk Road Competition (China's top modeling agency) in the fall.
Those that have represented ITM in the past have been successful both locally and internationally.

The finale takes place on June 7 at the River Rock Casino Resort in Richmond. Tickets for the gala dinner and finale are on sale at Ticketmaster, with proceeds going to the B.C. Cancer Society.
