Lots of family fun at the Tsawwassen Library

In-person programming has returned to the Fraser Valley Regional Library
Tsawwassen library
There is a mix of in-person and virtual programming at the Tsawwassen Library this month.

Introduce some creative play in your child’s life, relieve some stress in your own world or just have some fun.

Kids, join the summer fun at the Tsawwassen Library’s Imagination Station on Sundays between 2 and 3 p.m., starting this Sunday, June 12 and create a masterpiece.

Library staff will provide LEGO, KEVA planks, and Magformers, all you need to bring is your imagination. Test your engineering skills while you build amazing structures. Registration not required.

Calling all cooking enthusiasts.

Do you love trying new recipes and sharing your cooking experiences, meal ideas or culinary tips with others? Register for the next Cookbook Club then join online on Thursday, June 16 from 2 to 3 p.m. This time library staff will be diving into a discussion of Chinese cuisine.

From Cantonese to Szechuan style, please come prepared to share your favourite Chinese cuisine recipes, cookbooks, magazines or websites with the group. The presenters will also share their favs too. July’s topic will be barbequing (because summer has got to start sometime) and August’s topic will be canning your garden’s bounty.

Teens, are you a fan of Dungeons and Dragons?  Whether you’re an expert or beginner, you are invited to join us at the Tsawwassen Library on Saturday, June 18, July 9 and Aug. 13 from noon to 4 p.m. to learn and play Dungeons & Dragons.

Registration required. Participants should attend all sessions.

More comfortable with online programming still? Everyone is welcome to register for Spider-Man Trivia on Tuesday, June 14 from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m. If you’re an adult and love trivia games, register for Music Trivia Night on Thursday, June 23 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
