Mount Seymour named one of the 'world's most Instagram-worthy winter wonderlands'

The North Vancouver destination was ranked No. 4 on a list of photogenic winter wonderlands around the world

Want to see a beautiful sight? And be happy tonight? Try walking in this winter wonderland.

Mount Seymour in North Vancouver has just been named No. 4 on a list of the “world’s most Instagram-worthy winter wonderlands.”

The list was compiled by the wise travel experts from SkyParkSecure, an international airport parking distributor. The parking people used a highly scientific formula to find and filter the destinations best described as “winter winderlands around the world,” using metrics such as social media mentions and Instagram hashtag data to determine the most Insta-worthy winter destinations on Earth.

Lake Placid in New York was the runaway winner on the list, with Johnston Canyon in Banff, Alta., coming second and Partnachklamm in Bavaria, Germany, placing third.

Mount Seymour was fourth, making it and Johnston Canyon the only two Canadian locations to crack the top 10.

“Mount Seymour Provincial Park has some of the most spectacular winter scenery from around the world,” said the good folks at SkyParkSecure in a release announcing the rankings.

Here are a few Instagram posts to prove that Seymour looks mighty good when dressed in white.
