Denyer is a RCAF veteran and served protecting the coastline of B.C. during The Second World War.

He owned his own drug store in the early years in North Delta and was a sales rep for Proctor and Gamble. He is still very active with the North Delta Rotary Club and is now living in Langley at Harrison Point Lodge. 

A fly-by has been arranged by the members of the North Delta Rotary Club over the Langley airport with a banner wishing him a Happy 100th. Should you want to show your best wishes to Denyer, you are welcome to drive by the Derek Doubleday Arboretum and Park, 21559 Fraser Hwy, Langley City, between 12:30 and 1:30 p.m. on June 16.

North Delta Rotary Club has its own Foundation and donations can be made in his name for local organizations here.

The Rotary Club of North Delta was chartered in 1981. The club currently supports the Starfish Pack program serving more than 80 backpacks weekly to children in need at local elementary schools along with several other local organizations and bursaries.
