The Ladner Business Association kicked off the holiday season Thursday night with its ninth annual Christmas Tree Festival.
An excellent turnout braved a steady downpour to take in the live entertainment provided by Tony Barton and the Delta Youth Theatre. The evening’s highlight was a visit from Santa Claus himself to light the tree at the corner Delta Street and 48th Avenue.
The next big holiday event in the Village is the annual Ladner Carol Ship setting sail on Dec. 10th and 11th at 7:15 p.m. each night.
