Santa to pay annual visit to Cammidge House Sunday

Santa Claus will make his annual trip to Cammidge House in Tsawwassen on Sunday. Kids can have a visit with Jolly Old Saint Nick at the heritage house in Boundary Bay Regional Park from 1 to 3 p.m.

Santa Claus will make his annual trip to Cammidge House in Tsawwassen on Sunday.

Kids can have a visit with Jolly Old Saint Nick at the heritage house in Boundary Bay Regional Park from 1 to 3 p.m.

"Last year we had about 75 kids," said Ursula Easterbrook, chairperson of the Cammidge House Committee.

Kids will get a goodie bag with a few treats as well as a raffle ticket. Prizes include a gingerbread house and a mini decorated tree.

Refreshments, including hot punch, tea and coffee, will be available.

Parents are reminded to bring their own cameras.

The event is free but donations will be accepted.

. Easterbrook also noted the Cammidge House Committee could use more volunteers. The committee meets on the first Friday of the month.

Upcoming events include Heritage Day in February and Birds in Focus in March.
