This Saturday, Dec. 10, unwrapped new toys can be dropped off at Dennison Park in Tsawwassen between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

A holiday tradition continues on Saturday at Dennison Park.

The South Delta Rams Community Football Club will be holding its third annual Christmas Toy Drive from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. where unwrapped new toys can be dropped off.

The campaign was initiated by former Ram player and current South Delta Sun Devil Gage Spargo.

“Gabe approached me in December of 2020. We were in the midst of the COVID lockdown,” recalled longtime Rams executive Anthony Hanna. “He observed the difficulty for families and patients over the Christmas season as they could not physically see other. Gage’s sensitivity to the matter is a blessing to the children, families and shows the character and culture we have in the South Delta community and among the Rams organization.”

Last year’s Toy Drive resulted in 300 toys being delivered to B.C. Children’s Hospital.
