The Rotary Club of Tsawwassen's Gift of Light features 25,000 lights at Diefenbaker Park.

The Rotary Club of Tsawwassen invites you to bring the whole family to fill your heart with the Spirit of Christmas at the Gift of Light this Sunday, Dec. 5 at Diefenbaker Park in Tsawwassen.

Activities for the kids start at 3 p.m. and will be available until 5:30 p.m. Kids will be invited to decorate cookies, roast marshmallows over an open fire, and write letters to Santa and more. To make the afternoon even more festive, the always fun March Hare Band is going to be playing all the season’s favourites.

Then, Santa himself will arrive to wish everyone Merry Christmas! Families are invited to come and take their own keepsake photos of the kids with Santa.

At dusk, the countdown will begin and Santa will throw the switch to light up the expanded display including 25,000 lights and brand new larger than life characters.

“We are so thrilled to welcome everyone back this year to our Gift of Light celebration,” said Rotary Club of Tsawwassen president Greg Muirhead. “Our COVID plan is in place and safety protocols will be followed so we can have fun outdoors and bring back the excitement and joy to kids and adults alike at this special time of year.”
