English Bluff Elementary is taking a step back in time for its Spring Carnival. The event, which celebrates the Tsawwassen school's 50th anniversary, will have a 1960s theme.

The Hustle & Heart Block Party promises a fun afternoon for the community while raising muchneeded funds for Delta Hospital. The second annual event will take place on Saturday, June 7 from noon to 6 p.m. on the hospital grounds.

Ladner Village was buzzing with activity over the weekend with the annual May Days celebration. Established in 1896, it is billed as one of B.C.'s oldest and largest free family event.
