All uked up and no place to jam? Whether you're a ukulele newbie or a seasoned strummer, join fellow uke enthusiasts at the Tsawwassen Library this summer. Library Ukulele Jam will run from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Over 50 stroke survivors and caregivers gathered at Tsawwassen United Church late last month to learn from Fraser Health specialists at a Delta Stroke Recovery-sponsored workshop.

The Ladner Tennis Club is hosting its annual open house this Sunday, May 3 from noon to 4 p.m. The club, which started in 1976, has become a tennis family in the community from its base at Hawthorne Park.

The third edition of the local Walk With Your Doc is set for next Saturday. It's billed as a short, fun, community walk around Boundary Bay Regional Park.
