Deltassist will be hosting a Coldest Night of the Year walk next month.

The walk, to be held Feb. 23 in North Delta, is a “super-fun, family-friendly fundraiser that raises money for local charities serving hungry, homeless and hurting families and youth in 120 communities across Canada,” according to Deltassist.

Deltassist is looking for individuals and groups to take part in the walk:

• Walkers: Individuals or teams register on the CNOY Deltassist site and start their own fundraising page.

• Team Captains: Individuals or organizations recruit and lead their team of walkers.

• Volunteers: Help with registration, route planning and safety and several other key roles.

• Sponsors: Individuals or organizations can become a sponsor of the event.
