Ladner Pioneer Library’s Reading Buddies program pairs elementary children up to Grade 3 with high school volunteers for 45 minutes of reading practice each Thursday. The six-week program begins Thursday, April 11 at 3:45 p.m. and runs until Thursday, May 16. Registration is required.
The Life Binders Workshop offers a solution for being prepared for the logistics of dying. On Friday, April 12, join life coach and counsellor Lara McIntyre at the Ladner Pioneer Library from 10:30 a.m. to noon or at the Tsawwassen Library from 1 to 2:30 p.m. to learn how to create a place for all the important information that makes up your life so your loved ones can complete your death. Love to dance? There will be dances at KinVillage Community Centre in Tsawwassen every Friday night (8 to 10:30 p.m.) and Sunday afternoon (1 to 3:30 p.m.).
