Doug and Jim from R.E.C. for KIDS are with Lorraine Yates and Kirsti Kober from Deltassist getting ready to put the bikes away for the Toy Depot.

There are truly some really great people out there selflessly helping those in need in Delta. Doug and Jim from R.E.C. for KIDS are two such people and they recently stopped by the Deltassist office with 13 new bikes for the social services agency’s upcoming Christmas Toy Depot.

R.E.C. for KIDS was formed in 2007 by a group of Rotarians who wanted to see children in need access necessary sports equipment which would allow them to participate in the sport of their choice.

Their vision is for every child in need to have the sports and recreational equipment required to stay healthy, be active and have fun.

Deltassist will now be able to refer families to R.E.C. for KIDS throughout the year for sports equipment.
