Let’s make some sticky, gooey, slimey goodness! Kids in grades 3+ are invited to register for Spring Break Slime Time on Wednesday, March 18 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Using commonly found household ingredients, kids will use their STEAM skills to make slime and complete other science activities. Want some Ozobot fun during Spring Break? Ladner Pioneer Library is offering an Ozobot Dance Party on Wednesday, March 18 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., Ozobot Art on Thursday, March 19 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. and Ozobot Maze on Wednesday, March 25 from 3 to 4 p.m. Register for one or all. At Ozobot Dance Party, we’ll be using Ozoblockly and colour codes to code these mini robots to perform a dance routine.  For ages 10 to 12.  At Ozobot Art, you’ll be unleashing your inner artist with visual coding.  For ages nine to 12. And at Ozobot Maze, you’ll be helpomg Ozobot navigage through a maze using OzoBlocky movement, navigation and logic codes. This Spring Break, children of all ages along with their families can learn some fun facts about birds while we play rounds of bird-themed bingo at Bird Bingo on Thursday, March 26 from 1 to 2 p.m. Register your child then bring the family for a chance to win a prize. Visit Events Page at www.fvrl.ca to register online.

Ladies, this program is for you. Join financial advisor Tanya Lyn Werk for Women and Money on Tuesday, March 17 from either 10:30 a.m. to noon or 6:30 to 8 p.m. as she shares information about financial issues that are unique to women. Topics covered in this interactive information session include building and protecting wealth; divorce and separation; death and the financial impact; and Credit Bureau awareness. On Sunday, March 22 from 2 to 4 p.m. enjoy a Sunday Documentary, streamed via FVRL’s Kanopy. This month’s film is Exit Through the Gift Shop (2010, rated R for language). Admission is free but register online to ensure a spot. He transforms cityscapes around the world into brilliant works of street art. Some call him a genius, others a criminal. Though his true identity remains a secret, graffiti artist Banksy has become one of pop culture's greatest icons. Exit Through the Gift Shop follows the attempts of an eccentric L.A. thrift shop owner to capture the ever-elusive Banksy at work -- only to have the mischievous artist turn the camera back on him with hilarious results. Create a scene from a book, movie or fandom using sugary Peeps in Peep-A-Palooza Creation Station on Monday, March 23 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. You provide a shoe box and the library will provide the Peeps. Completed Peep-O-Ramas will be placed on exhibit at the library for everyone to both enjoy and to have the chance to vote for their favourite from April 4 to 9. Everyone is welcome.
