Tsawwassen Mills is celebrating Lunar New Year.
The mall at the Tsawwassen First Nation is inviting guests to visit its Chinese garden, complete with cherry blossom trees, to tie a wish on the Wishing Tree and in exchange receive a fortune cookie with a blessing or a prize inside.
The campaign has proved popular with shoppers as many wishes are hanging from the tree. The opportunity to tie a wish continues until Sunday, Feb. 2.
To further celebrate the holiday, the mall is hosting a stage performance on Saturday, Feb. 1 at 2:30 p.m. in the Promo Court inside Entry 3.
The performance will feature the traditional lion dance which will be followed by the dragon visiting retailers throughout the centre with a special blessing.
