A 50-year tradition continues this weekend in Ladner.
The Ladner Business Association presents is annual Breakfast with Santa from 8 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7 at the Ladner Community Centre.
“Breakfast with Santa is the perfect opportunity to bring your extended family together to create wonderful memories and take a morning off from cooking,” said LBA president Jill McKnight.
“Let our experienced team of volunteers and local dignitaries do the cooking and the dishes so you can relax and enjoy your breakfast. We are extremely fortunate to have many returning volunteers for this event -- some who have been with us for more than 40 years.”
A breakfast of pancakes is $5 or pancakes with ham for $7 (both include coffee, tea or juice).
There will also be lots of activities for kids, including face painting, balloon twisting, a colouring station and musical entertainment by Daryl and Nicole. Complimentary photos with Santa will be taken by Kirsten Laufer Photography.
Santa will be arriving by Delta police cruiser at approximately 8:15 a.m. to allow lots of time for photos.
The breakfast is part of a series of LBA Christmas events presented by the Port of Vancouver and sponsored by 42 local businesses in South Delta.
