The race this year saw more than 230 runners and walkers take place in the challenging 11.2km route.

The winner in the men’s open category was Bertrand LeCorre with a time of 41:10 and winner of the women’s open was Courtney McEwan, crossing the finish line with a time of 45:34.

After the race, all participants enjoy a thirst quenching jug of beer and a barbecue party at the Reef Tavern.

The race was sponsored by the RunInn, and New Balance.

A generous donation was also received from Mark Schoeffel, of HollisWealth in Tsawwassen to help sponsor the run this year.  The race was also well supported by Muscle Memory, Coastal Olive Oils, Town Centre Mall, Oxygen Yoga, Thrifty Foods, Albany Books, Ambiente, and Four Winds. Thanks also to the team of volunteers that helped out at the race and to everyone who participated.

Come visit the RunInn at its new location at the Town Centre Mall (#125-1315 56th St.), or call at 604-943-4661.
