Ladner Rotary Club receives international recognition

For developing sustainable service projects, building awareness of Rotary in the community, growing membership and giving to the international Rotary Foundation, the Rotary Club of Ladner has received the international Rotary Citation.

The award from Rotary International president Ian Riseley of Australia was presented as the club celebrated Rotary International’s 114th anniversary.

The international Rotary Foundation, rated among the most highly respected in the world, has also recognized and thanked Ladner Rotary for its generous support of the End Polio Now: Countdown to History Campaign.

Rotary past District 5040 governor Don Evans was on hand to present the two recognition awards to the club on Feb. 26.
