The Ladner Lawn Bowling Club last Tuesday hosted nine visually impaired bowlers from various clubs in the province for two 10-end games. This is the second year in a row the members of the B.C. Blind Sports Association have visited the Ladner club.
Also,on June 14 the ladies of the Ladner Lawn Bowling Club prepared a lunch for the men of the club. A special song, written by one of the club’s ladies, thanked the men for all they do to make the club a special place. In lieu of the traditional tie or socks as gifts, the men were given something they all could use: a roll of duct tape.
