Lots on the go at the Ladner Lawn Bowling Club

The Ladner Lawn Bowling Club last Tuesday hosted nine visually impaired bowlers from various clubs in the province for two 10-end games. This is the second year in a row the members of the B.C. Blind Sports Association have visited the Ladner club.

The Ladner Lawn Bowling Club last Tuesday hosted nine visually impaired bowlers from various clubs in the province for two 10-end games. This is the second year in a row the members of the B.C. Blind Sports Association have visited the Ladner club.

Also,on June 14 the ladies of the Ladner Lawn Bowling Club prepared a lunch for the men of the club. A special song, written by one of the club’s ladies, thanked the men for all they do to make the club a special place. In lieu of the traditional tie or socks as gifts, the men were given something they all could use: a roll of duct tape.
