Music for clean water

The Richmond Delta Youth Orchestra will be performing next month at a benefit concert in support of a clean water project in Paraguay.

The Richmond Delta Youth Orchestra will be performing next month at a benefit concert in support of a clean water project in Paraguay.

Led by conductor Stephen Robb, the orchestra will perform alongside the Egret Choir and the Morning Star Singers in the first half of the concert in Richmond. During the second half, the orchestra will accompany soprano Ariel Sung and her students.

The performances will be part of the Rotary Club of Vancouver Centennial's annual fundraising concert. It is set for Saturday, Nov. 7 at 6:30 p.m. at Richmond Fraserview Church, 11295 Mellis Dr. Tickets are $20 each and available from RDYO, Pearl Hot Pot, 7154 Sperling Ave., Burnaby, and Century Chiropractic Clinic, 204-2786 W. 16th Ave., Vancouver.
