The Delta Hospice Society continues to feel the joy this holiday season.

The Old English Car Club of B.C.’s Vancouver Coast Branch recently presented Delta Hospice Society acting executive director Laurine Kelly with an $800 cheque from the club’s November London to Brighton Commemorative Run.

This event started from the historic Boundary Bay Airport in Delta and ended in Langley. This was the 24th annual commemorative car run which commemorates the U.K.’s ‘London to Brighton Vintage Car Run’ occurring the same day.

The Old English Car Club of B.C. has chosen to gift the Hospice Society since this year’s run started in Delta.

“What a generous gift from these car enthusiasts,” said Kelly. “We are very appreciative of these gifts and the support they provide for our services as well as those of other hospice societies each year.”

The Delta Hospice Society offers supportive, palliative and bereavement support for adults, teens and children. For more information about current programs and services, or how you can make a donation to support these services please contact the Centre for Supportive Care at 604-948-0660 or visit www.deltahospice.org to designate a gift.
